Treatments
Physical Rehabilitation & Myofascial Stretching:
Uses/Treatment: Relieved through massage, stretching, pressure therapy, or exercise.
Examples: Knots in the neck, shoulders, back, or calf muscles.
Wobble Board:
Uses: Improves balance, coordination, and strength; helps with injury recovery.
Examples: Physical therapy, fitness training, sports practice, and children's play.
Core Muscle Strengthening
Cox Flexion/ Distraction:
Uses a special moving table
Slowly stretches and mobilizes the spine
Reduces pressure on discs and nerves
Helps with low back pain and sciatica
Improves spinal movement and flexibility
Usually does not involve forceful cracking
Often feels like a gentle spinal stretch
Intersegmental Traction:
Passive therapy using a motorized table
Gently moves and stretches the spine
Helps improve spinal mobility
Promotes relaxation of back muscles
May reduce stiffness and discomfort
Often used as a supportive treatment for back pain
Patient lies still while the table moves beneath them
Usually feels like a gentle rolling or stretching motion of the spine
Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS):
Uses electrodes placed on the skin
Causes muscles to contract and relax
Helps reduce pain and muscle spasms
May improve muscle strength and circulation
Can aid muscle re-education after injury
Commonly used in physical therapy and rehabilitation
Treatment intensity is adjusted for comfort
Usually feels like a tingling or pulsing sensation
